Court Blocks Bush EPA Changes to Clean Air Act
Statement from Refinery Reform Campaign on the Court decision:
"The Courts have affirmed that not only is the Bush EPA attempted overhaul our Clean Air Act, unhealthy, but it is also illegal. For this decision and the hard work of many activists, communities and attorneys, we must pause to give great thanks this holiday season.
But we must continue the national battle to save our most precious and threatened resource: clean and healthy air. The oil and chemical companies will continue to work their friends at EPA, the White House and Congress to destroy our children's right to breathe free and clean in 2004.
Refinery Reform will continue its work to educate the public about the human face of this naked aggression against the fenceline neighbors of oil and petrochemical plants as well as the entire nation."
